Falcon First Day for all incoming freshmen and new students to GCMS High School will take place on Friday, August 9 from 9-11am at the high school. Students will receive a hard copy of their schedule, hear from staff members and students, do a schedule run through, and have an opportunity to access their lockers. Reminder that any students wanting to participate in fall sports need to have an updated sports physical completed prior to the first day of try-outs/practice (August 12). Sports physicals are good for 13 months. If a student does not have an up to date physical, they cannot participate in practices until a sports physical is completed and turned into the office.
GCMS offices will be open for New Student Registration on Tuesday, Aug 6. Please contact the school offices for an appointment. We will also have staff available at the Middle School and High School to help anyone having difficulty with registration that would like to stop by in person. Remember to have online registration completed by Aug 9.

There will be a PreK Screening on Aug 5th for anyone wanting to enroll in our program. Please call the Elementary Office (217-784-4278) to sign up for a time slot. Please pass this information along to others. If already enrolled in our program, there is no need to sign up.
