Ford County Schools (GCMS, PBL, Tri-Point) are partnering together to decrease chronic absenteeism in our schools. We have worked with the Champaign-Ford County Regional Office of Education to secure an attendance liaison, to work strictly with Ford County Schools. We will be hosting monthly visits at our school with the ROE Attendance liaison during the school day. These visits aim to address the importance of consistent school attendance.

Mr. Kean

We had a great turnout for ESL night at GCMS Elementary! A huge shoutout to Maria Rodriguez and all the volunteers that made this night possible!

I want to make you aware of a policy change at the elementary school. We will no longer allow kids to use phones or outside electronics (including smart watches) once they enter the elementary building. We have always asked that phones be turned off/on silent and be put in lockers, but we had many issues before school in the cafeteria or right at the end of school, so they are no longer permitted to be used in the building. We expect that devices will be put away before entering the building and stay there until exiting the building. Thanks for preparing your students for this!
Mr. Kean
