Throughout the day tomorrow, GCMS Students and Staff will be collecting coins around the schools and in town to support our friend Ryder who was diagnosed with Leukemia in April. Ryder is currently receiving treatment through the St Jude's affiliate in Peoria. Everything collected from our coin drive will go to Ryder's family. Please keep an eye out for cheerleaders and staff in their orange shirts around town!

We would like to recognize one of our students for going above and beyond for our community. Chloe Tjarks organized a fundraiser for the Gibson Area Food Pantry and was able to raise over $6000 through her efforts. Chloe makes us all Falcon Proud!

Just a reminder to students and parents, please have your student charge their Chromebook every night. An overnight charge will get your student through the day!

The latest MS celebrities to shimmer at the MS Life Skills class were Ms. Ferguson and Mrs. Doman! They provided an opportunity for the students to make their own tie dye face masks with personalized vinyl appliqués. Now the students have additional masks to wear to school.

IF the GCMS Schools go to "Full Remote Instruction" at some point in the future then these are the schedules students would follow. We share these schedules now so that families can be prepared; however, there are no immediate plans to move to fully remote learning.

We want all of our students to be at their best and a big part of that is hydration. Just a quick reminder that your student can carry a water bottle with them to class. Stay smart, stay hydrated!

Congratulations to our GCMS High School class officers for 2020-2021!
