Thank you GCMS! Falcon Proud!

The 2019-2020 Falconer, the GCMS High School yearbooks, have been delivered! 2020 grads who ordered one may pick theirs up in the office during school hours. We have a small number of additional books; email Riley.Susan@gcmsk12.org if you’d like to purchase one.

Did you know that research shows that most tweens would like to talk more to their parents about schoolwork. Ask your middle school student to share what they are learning in their classes, but be specific. "What did you work on in science class today?" or "What book are you discussing in English?" Start the conversation and have it daily!

Congratulations to Haven Hathaway for being named October Student of the Month. Haven is an active presence for us, serving as her class president for the 3rd year in a row. She's also President of our Interact Club and volunteers extensively for her church and community. She's been the Dance Team captain and has been its MVP for both football and basketball season. She is a member of NHS, Project Ignition, ACT, FBLA, Impact and the yearbook. Haven also participates in Chamber Choir and our musicals. She is still looking at universities but has her sights set on majoring in Fashion Merchandising and Journalism. Haven is the daughter of Parker and Sandy Hathaway. She was nominated by Mr. Stone.
