Dear Middle School Parents/Guardians,
The Gibson Area Food Pantry has developed a backpack program which will be providing nutritional food items to supplement weekend meals for qualifying GCMS students. The program's goal is to provide children with nutritious food items that can be prepared and served throughout the weekend.
Food items will be placed in your child’s locker on the selected dates (which will be the weeks that the Gibson Area Food Pantry @ 619 E. 1st Street is not open for distribution). We are inviting your family to participate in the program if you are interested. One bag of food will be distributed per family not per child. If you are interested in participating in this program, please have your child pick up a sign up packet in the office or contact the middle school office for details.
Thank you,
Mr. Bielfeldt

Members of the First Presbyterian Church in Gibson City stopped by the opening teacher inservice to provide a generous cash gift to all of the GCMS faculty and staff. We are part of a community that truly supports our school, one of the many reasons we are so #Falconproud!

Middle Middle School Families,
Here is a reminder of our updated information in regards to student drop off for the upcoming school year that was sent out last week.
Students that wish to eat free breakfast at school this year will be allowed to enter the cafeteria beginning at 7:45 AM. We ask that students not eating breakfast arrive no earlier than 8:00 am unless they are coming for meetings, pre-arranged reasons, or due to bus transportation.
We will be utilizing the outdoor area under the canopy for gathering when weather permits and students will enter for classes starting at 8:10. We look forward to seeing everyone on August 26th!
Thank you, Mr. Bielfeldt
