This past week had three total COVID positive cases (two previously reported). The Middle School had the only newly reported case that resulted in 14 total quarantines from both school , home, and bus contact.
At the conclusion of the year I will share total numbers. It is very important that we remember that despite the challenges we have successfully navigated an incredibly challenging year.

Congratulations to our 2021 Middle School Track and Field State Qualifiers! At Saturday's Sectional meet at Maroa, 7 Falcons earned State Qualifier honors: Lily Sizemore in the 7th Grade Girls 400m dash, Jacob Chase in the both the 7th Grade Boys Long Jump and 100m dash, Logan Ward in the 7th Grade Boys Shot Put, and the team of Thais-Rodriguez-Cortez, Maggie Cushman, Sophia Ray, Lily Sizemore, and Kaelyn Jiles in the 8th Grade Girls 4x100m relay. Great job by all!

We have had two reported positive cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. One case was at the elementary school and resulted in 4 quarantined students. The second case was at the high school and resulted in 9 quarantined students. Please continue to self certify your students these last two weeks and keep children home that are symptomatic or exposed to COVID outside of school. Thanks for your help and attention!

Please be aware that we will be running bus evacuation drills at morning drop off today. Do not be alarmed if you see the children exiting the rear of the bus.
This is a mandatory drill that was purposely delayed to avoid added confusion and contact in the fall, when it is usually run.
