GCMS Community,
As a result of the April 4th consolidated election GCMS has an opening for a 2 year Board of Education seat. In accordance with Board Policy 2:70 we are notifying the public of this open seat to allow anyone interested in filling that seat the chance to submit a resume and letter of interest to Board President Josh Johnson (johnson.josh@gcmsk12.org) for full board consideration at the April 24th regular scheduled board meeting, where the open seat will be filled by appointment. Please submit interest on or before April 21, 2023.

GCMS Families,
First, I want to say thank you for having your kids at school and giving great effort for our annual testing season! The results of these assessments are pieces to our decision making puzzle that are very important, and kids engaging fully helps us make informed decisions.
Another essential piece to that puzzle in routine input from families. Recently you have been asked to participate in the 2023 GCMS Survey of Families and our responses are very low! The more participants we have the more valid the data is for us to guide our decisions. Please consider completing the survey in the link below.

Sincerely,
Mr. Darnell

GCMS Families,
Looks like Mother Nature is going to deliver a storm right at arrival time this morning. Please use caution around in this transition time, around buses, and around the school facilities. We always see an increase in traffic on weather days and we want everyone to arrive safe, sound, and as dry as possible.
Thanks for your attention!
