Congratulations to our 8th grade volleyball team. They won last night and remain undefeated on the season. Our 7th grade team lost their first match of the season.
Congratulations to our wrestling team. Last night they competed against Prairie Central and Mahomet. They defeated both teams to remain undefeated on the season. This was the 2nd time in school history that we defeated Mahomet in wrestling.
Good luck to our 8th grade boys basketball team. Tomorrow morning they begin regional tournament play in Monticello vs. Argenta-Oreana. The game starts at 11:30. (Announcement from Mr. Berry)
Reminder to 6th and 7th graders- there will be guests in the building this morning and afternoon for the 8th grade career fair. Please be respectful and quiet while you're in the hallways as the 8th graders will be meeting with community adults and High School students.
All students- Our Mix It Up for Monday will be fav activities or interests. There will be 12 different activities or interests- please choose a table that fits your interest. If you get to a table and it's full, please go to another table with something that interests you.
Media Club meetings will now be on Monday mornings starting this Monday at 7:30am in the library.
If you are interested in participating in Spring Soccer, you can pick up a form from the office or Coach Dinkins. The Signup Deadline for Registration is February 14th. Any questions please see Coach Dinkins.
Attention students interested in playing Little League baseball or softball, please be sure to pick up an informational sheet on the counter in the office. Registration closes on February 6.
We would like for all students to do their check-in during the 1st hour. This helps make sure that Mrs. V and Mrs. J can get to anyone who wants a check-in throughout the day.
Also students, please make sure that your cellphones are off and stored in your locker and please be sure to sign up for hot lunch.
