GCMS Middle School

Good morning GCMS Middle School! Today is Thursday, January 19th.

Would you now please rise and recite the Pledge of Allegiance.

Good luck to our volleyball, wrestling and basketball teams tonight.  The volleyball and wrestling teams are competing here tonight.  Volleyball will be hosting Leroy and wrestling has a Tri meet at the elementary school.  Both volleyball teams and wrestling are undefeated so please come on out and support our teams.  We also want to wish our boys basketball teams good luck as they are on the road tonight playing at St. Malachy for the last regular season game.

Attention students, there will be a Scholastic Bowl informational meeting next Tuesday, January 24, at 7:30 in Mrs. O'Neall's room. Anyone interested in participating in Scholastic Bowl this year should attend. If you cannot make it, please make other arrangements to get information from Mrs. O'Neall

This Friday, January 20th, is the Middle School Glow Party from 6:30-8:30pm. Doors will open at 6:25pm.

The cost to enter is $5 and we will have glow sticks and concessions for sale.

Wear white, neon, or light colors. There will be a DJ and black lights in the cafeteria and the gym will be open for play. If you have any questions, see Ms. Ferguson in the library.

Attention students interested in playing Little League baseball or softball, please be sure to pick up an informational sheet on the counter in the office.  Registration closes on February 6.

Also, students please be sure to check out the lost and found table that is located outside of the office.  There are a lot of items that need to be claimed before they are thrown out or donated.

We would like for all students to do their check-in during the 1st hour.  This helps make sure that Mrs. V and Mrs. J can get to anyone who wants a check-in throughout the day.

Also students, please make sure that your cellphones are off and stored in your locker and please be sure to sign up for hot lunch.

Students, please remember to follow our school-wide expectations of Be on Time, Be Prepared, Be Respectful, and Be Safe.

Thank you and have a fantastic day Falcons!
