GCMS Middle School

Good morning GCMS Middle School! Today is Monday, November 21st.

Would you now please rise and recite the Pledge of Allegiance.

Good luck to our boys basketball teams and our 7th grade girls team as they all have games today.  The boys travel to Leroy while the 7th grade girls will be playing here at 5:30 vs. Fisher in the regional semi-final game.  Students, please note that because the girls game is part of a tournament, Middle School students will have to pay $3 for admission to the games.  We hope to get a great crowd in the Red Crush Section to support our girls tonight.  Speaking of tonight’s game, here is your Red Crush Captain, Brilee with an announcement about tonight’s game.

Signups for MS Volleyball will be on the counter in the office by lunchtime today.  Any 6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls interested in going out for volleyball should sign up and take an informational packet.  Volleyball begins in early December.  See Coach Jurik or Mr. Berry if you have any questions.

Students, just a reminder that tomorrow is a 2:20 dismissal and then you do not have school the rest of the week due to Thanksgiving Break.  If you plan to be gone tomorrow please make sure that your parents communicate with the office and your teachers and be sure to collect any work from your teachers today.  When we get back from Thanksgiving Break we only have about 3 weeks of school left in the semester so it is important to stay on top of all of your assignments and avoid falling behind.

The Student Council announces the November Spirit Day. This month's theme I Soccer Moms and BBQ Dads. Dress up tomorrow Nov 22 as your favorite mom or dad!

We would like for all students to do their check-in during the 1st hour.  This helps make sure that Mrs. V and Mrs. J can get to anyone who wants a check-in throughout the day.

Also students, please make sure that your cellphones are off and stored in your locker and please be sure to sign up for hot lunch.

Students, please remember to follow our school-wide expectations of Be on Time, Be Prepared, Be Respectful, and Be Safe.

Thank you and have a fantastic day Falcons!
