GCMS Middle School

Good morning GCMS Middle School! Today is Thursday, October 20th.

Would you now please rise and recite the Pledge of Allegiance.

Since it is getting colder out please keep in mind that hats and hoodies should only be worn outside.  They are not to be worn in the building.

Students, please be sure to check the lost and found table by the office.  The table is full of various items that students have lost.

Students, today is the last day of school for the week and you will be dismissed at 2:20 due to parent-teacher conferences.  There is no school tomorrow due to Fall Break.  With that being said, the 2nd quarter has now started.  Please make sure you are completing all assignments so you can get off to a strong start for the new quarter.

Warm feet mean warm hearts....Don't forget to bring in your new adult socks to donate and win a cookie cake for your enrichment class.  We have a new class leading the way!  Mrs. Allen’s class is now in first place.

A note to any girls coming to Intramural Volleyball on Saturday morning- volleyball is from 8-9:30am!!  The time was changed from the calendar.  There is a note in the office if you want to pick one up to take home to parents!

Next week we will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week.  The theme for Monday is “Don’t let Drugs Steal Your Dreams” (Wear PJs)  Please remember that all clothing must be school appropriate.

If you attended the Falcon Family Pre-Game Celebration and have not received your free book, then please stop by Mrs. Freehill's room today

We would like for all students to do their check-in during the 1st hour.  This helps make sure that Mrs. V and Mrs. J can get to anyone who wants a check-in throughout the day.

Also students, please make sure that your cellphones are off and stored in your locker and please be sure to sign up for hot lunch.

Students, please remember to follow our school-wide expectations of Be on Time, Be Prepared, Be Respectful, and Be Safe.

Thank you and have a fantastic day Falcons!
