Students, please be advised that if you know you are going to be absent from school please let your teachers know ahead of time. This will give your teachers time to get your missing assignments to you before you will be gone. It is a lot easier to get caught up on your missing work if you get it all before you leave rather than trying to play catchup when you return from your trip. Remember, you are responsible for all assignments that you missed while you were absent from school. Thank you so much for being prepared.
The next student council meeting will be tomorrow, September 14, at 7:30 AM in Mr. Hoogstraat’s room.
The schoolwide reading challenge has started. We will be officially voting this year. In order to participate in voting, you need to read at least three of the books. For every five books you read, there will be a prize. This challenge will end February 1st. Good luck to our softball team today as they are playing the Regional Championship game today in Hoopeston. Softball players are dismissed at 2:35. The girls basketball team is dismissed at 3:10 today.
We would like for all students to do their check-in during 1st hour. This helps make sure that Mrs. V and Mrs. J can get to anyone who wants a check-in throughout the day.
Also students, please make sure that your cellphones are off and stored in your locker and please be sure to sign up for hot lunch.
