Falcon First Day for Incoming Freshmen

Dear Incoming Freshman,

On behalf of the faculty, staff and students, welcome to GCMS high school.  We are excited to have you as part of the team.

We have put together a program to assist in the transition from middle school to high school.  We are hosting Falcon First day to kick off the year specifically dedicated to our incoming freshmen on Thursday August 13, 2020 from 9:00-11:45 am at the GCMS high school.  Falcon First Day is all about learning the culture of the high school and understanding the expectations of our students.  We will also have a schedule run through to assist with transitioning to each class period.  Finally, you will have the opportunity to check out your lockers and ask any questions you may have.

In addition, we have organized mentors to pair up with students in their advisory class throughout the school year.  These mentors will provide support and guidance to you.  I have attached the schedule with the breakdown of the activities for Falcon First Day for further information.
