Students, our dance that was postponed will now take place this Friday. It will be from 6:30-8:30. Admission is $5 and you will need money for concessions as well. Also, for $3 you can enter into a free throw contest. The winner will receive the prize basket that Mrs. Warren put together.
Congratulations to our 7th grade volleyball team. Saturday morning they pulled off an upset in the first round of the regional tournament! They play again tomorrow night at 7:00 at St. Joe Middle School.
Congratulations to our wrestling team. For the second year in a row we are regional champions! We also have a large number of wrestlers moving on to sectionals next weekend. Congratulations to Colton Johnson, Jackson Collins, Ian Rotramel, Bentley Fields, Cam Brucker, Isaac Rotramel, Landen Lage, and Kollin Nash for advancing to sectionals.
Margaret Peterson Haddix announcement: students as you know we have a famous author visiting us on March 5. We will have an assembly where all of you can meet her and learn about how she became an author. That evening we will host a family night where you can bring your family to meet her. The first 100 students that arrive at the family night will receive a free book that Margaret Peterson Haddix will sign for you.
6th and 7th grade boys interested in basketball intramurals should pick up an info packet on the counter in the office. Boys basketball intramurals begin on Mon. Feb. 26. See Coach Dinkins or Coach Berry if you have any questions.
Also students, please make sure that your cellphones are off and stored in your locker. If you are eating school lunch today and have not signed up yet please do so now.
