Congratulations to our 7th grade boys basketball team. Last night they defeated Ridgeview by a score of 44-13. Our 8th grade team lost a close one to a very good Ridgeview team. Good luck to both teams this weekend as they compete in the TCC Tournament which is being held at PBL.
Our student council is happy to announce that they are starting a coin drive today with the proceeds going to the GAH Food Pantry. Students please bring in coins, cash, or checks and turn them in to your enrichment teacher. Checks should be written to the Gibson Area Hospital Food Pantry. This coin drive ends on December 15. The enrichment that collects the most money will receive a cookie and hot chocolate party.
Students, we have just over two weeks of school left until the end of the 2nd quarter. Please make sure that you are staying on top of your grades and completing and turning in all of your assignments. If you are not happy with your current grades now is the time to take action.
MS Girls Basketball Awards and uniform turn in will be Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 3:30. Please bring clean uniforms to turn in that night. We will conclude at 4:40. If you cannot attend, please see Coach Leitz before Tuesday.
Students, please check the lost and found rack for any missing items. There are quite a few items that need to be claimed.
Also students, please make sure that your cellphones are off and stored in your locker. If you are eating school lunch today and have not signed up yet please do so now.
