GCMS Middle School

Good morning GCMS Middle School! Today is Tuesday, November 21st.

Would you now please rise and recite the Pledge of Allegiance.

Congratulations to our 8th grade girls basketball team.  Last night they defeated IW in overtime by a score of 27-25 to advance to the regional championship game.  That game is taking place tonight at 6 PM in Onarga.  Good luck Lady Falcons!

Congratulations to our 7th grade boys basketball team.  Last night they defeated Leroy by a score of 30-10.  Good luck to both of our boys basketball teams tonight as they play at home against Fisher.  The 7th grade game starts at 4:30.  The theme for tonight is Camo Night as we are hunting Bunnies.

Signups for MS Volleyball are on the counter in the office.  Any 6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls interested in going out for volleyball should sign up and take an informational packet.  Volleyball begins in early December.  See Coach Jurik or Mr. Berry if you have any questions.

A reminder to all MS wrestlers that practice starts next Mon. Nov. 27.  Practice will be from 3:45-6:00 at the Elem. School.  You will be dismissed at the 3:20 bell and ride a bus from here to the Elem.  Please arrange to have rides pick you up at the Elem. at 6:00.  Also, a reminder that you must have all of the required paperwork turned in to the office by Monday or else you'll have to sit out of practice.  Contact Coach Brucker or see Coach Berry if you have any questions.

Also, please check the lost and found rack for any missing items.  There are quite a few items that need to be claimed.

Students, this is the last day before Thanksgiving Break.  We dismiss at 2:20 today so all of your classes are shortened today.  Let’s make it a great last day before break.

Also students, please make sure that your cellphones are off and stored in your locker.  If you are eating school lunch today and have not signed up yet please do so now.

Students, please remember to follow our school-wide expectations of Be on Time, Be Prepared, Be Respectful, and Be Safe.

Thank you and have a fantastic day Falcons!
