Good morning GCMS Middle School! Today is Friday, November 17th.

Students, today marks the mid-term of the 2nd quarter. Please make sure that you are frequently checking your grades and turning in all of your assignments. The quarter ends in December before we go on Winter Break and typically the time between Thanksgiving Break and Winter Break goes by really fast so please make sure you are keeping up with all of your assignments.
Congratulations to our boys basketball teams! Last night they played at Nash Middle School and both teams earned wins. The 7th grade team won by a score of 30-21 while the 8th grade team won 53-24. Both teams will be in action next week with home games on Monday and Tuesday.
Good luck to our 8th grade girls basketball team. Tomorrow morning they play in the opening round of the IESA Regional tournament against Fisher. The game starts at 11:15 AM and is being played at IW Middle School in Onarga.
Wrestling practice begins Nov. 27. If you have any paperwork to turn in please turn it in to Mrs. Cliff in the office.
Also, please check the lost and found rack for any missing items. There are quite a few items that need to be claimed.
Also students, please make sure that your cellphones are off and stored in your locker. If you are eating school lunch today and have not signed up yet please do so now.
