The Middle School Girls Basketball teams are set to begin competition in the Twin County Conference 7th and 8th Grade Girls Basketball Tournaments. Quarterfinal play begins this Saturday, Oct. 21 with both GCMS teams playing at Iroquois W. High School in Gilman. The 7th Grade Girls will face Clifton Nash at 10:15AM and the 8th Grade Girls will face Clifton Nash at 11:30AM. Bus time is 8:40AM. Winners of Saturday's quarterfinal games will advance to the semifinals on Mon. Oct. 23 at either IW High School in Gilman or IW Middle School in Onarga. The 3rd place and championship games will be played Wed. Oct. 25 at either Gilman or Onarga. Admission to the tournament is $4 for adults and high school students and $2 for students K-8 and Seniors 62+.
