Good luck to our softball team. They have a game tonight against Rantoul. Today’s game is their last regular season home game so it is also 8th grade night. Come on out to celebrate our 8th grade softball players.
Attention girls who are going out for basketball: the parent meeting that was scheduled for this wed. has been rescheduled for Thursday night, Aug. 31 at 7PM in the MS cafeteria. Please make sure your parents know about the change. Also, please remember that tryouts begin on Tuesday, Sept. 5. See Coach Leitz or Mr. Berry if you have any questions.
Students, tomorrow we dismiss at 11:30 so we will be running our 11:30 dismissal schedule. Also, tomorrow during 2nd period we have our law enforcement drill at the beginning of 2nd period. If we ever had to evacuate the building we would go to the old gym in the elementary school. We will practice this tomorrow.
We would like for all students to do their check-in during the 1st hour. Even if you do not want a check-in today please be sure to log-in and submit that you do not want a check-in. We want all students to be comfortable with this process. This helps make sure that Mrs. V and Mrs. Zook can get to anyone who wants a check-in throughout the day.
Also students, please make sure that your cellphones are off and stored in your locker and please be sure to sign up for hot lunch if you still need to.
