Good morning GCMS Middle School! Today is Thursday, April 27th.

Congratulations to Mrs. O’Neall and our scholastic bowl team. Last night they competed in the IESA Regional tournament and came away with the Regional Title! They move on to the sectional round which will take place in Mahomet on Monday.
Good luck to our track teams today. They have a home meet and will be dismissed at 3:00.
The Band Spring Concert is tonight at 7pm in the HS gym. Band students: take your instrument & music home today if you forgot yesterday.
Tomorrow will be our next school dance from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. The theme is "Under the Stars". The gym will be open for play. The cost to attend is $5.
This Friday, April 28th student council is hosting a school dress up theme (class color).
Sixth grade: wear white
Seventh grade: wear red
Eighth grade: wear black
Please participate to show your school spirit.
Information for Youth Football and Cheerleading is on the counter in the office. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Warren.
We would like for all students to do their check-in during the 1st hour. This helps make sure that Mrs. V and Mrs. J can get to anyone who wants a check-in throughout the day.
Also students, please make sure that your cellphones are off and stored in your locker and please be sure to sign up for hot lunch.
