Good morning GCMS Middle School! Today is Thursday, April 6th.

Attention 6th and 7th grade girls, if you are interested in basketball intramurals you should pick up an info packet on the counter in the office. Girls basketball intramurals begin on Mon. April 17. See Coach Leitz or Coach Berry if you have any questions.
We also have flyers on the counter in the office for soccer and football camps. Please be sure to grab a flyer if you are interested in these camps.
Students, please be advised that today we will dismiss students at 11:30. It is also a small group day. All small groups will meet from 11:00-11:30. There is no school on Friday or Monday due to the Easter holiday.
Also, today we will be participating in a severe weather tornado drill. The drill will take place at 10:45. Students, please remember, in the event that we have a tornado, the safest place in our entire school are the downstairs bathrooms and the hallway outside of Mr. Berry’s classroom. Your teacher should have time to answer any questions that you may have prior to starting the drill.
Students, when we get back from Easter Break, we will start IAR testing next Thursday. Please take a look at the posters outside of the office to determine where you will go for testing. Testing does not start until next Thursday. More information about testing will be provided next week.
We would like for all students to do their check-in during the 1st hour. This helps make sure that Mrs. V and Mrs. J can get to anyone who wants a check-in throughout the day.
Also students, please make sure that your cellphones are off and stored in your locker and please be sure to sign up for hot lunch.
