Welcome to Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley High School - Home of the FALCONS!!!

Dear Falcon Parents, Students, and Community Members,

It is a privilege to serve GCMS High School and the Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley communities as the principal of the high school. I consider it an honor to have the opportunity to lead a school with a rich history in academics, athletics, fine arts, and extracurricular success. The privilege of working with a talented and dedicated faculty and staff, a tremendous student body, and supportive parents and community members will help to continue to grow GCMS High School to new heights and accomplishments.

The teachers and staff at GCMS High School are dedicated to providing high quality education and relevant extracurricular opportunities that will meet the needs and interests of our students. As your principal, I challenge each and every student to take full advantage of all that is offered here at GCMS High School so your high school experience is successful, enjoyable, and most importantly meaningful. I truly believe that every student has the ability and potential to achieve great things.

We are here to serve all of our students and aid them in their success. This success is made possible for all students when there is a strong partnership between parents, faculty, and the school. As parents, you can assist us by being as active as possible in your child’s education. My door is always open to parents who have questions or concerns about their child’s education and experiences while here at GCMS High School.

I look forward to the challenges we will face and with that, I am excited for the future of GCMS High School. Together we will move forward and find new ways to achieve success and instill and inspire Falcon Pride and create lasting high school memories.

Welcome back and remember…ONCE A FALCON, ALWAYS A FALCON!!!

Yours in education,

Kyle Bielfeldt, Principal
